Measure the boards
Measure up your boards and gear. You don't just want to have space for the board but also your snow pants, boots and coat as well as a duffel bag so you are always ready to head out. Make sure you can fit it all in and still close the doors - so measure the width as well as the height of all of your objects.
Your wardrobe installer can also place a rack in the wardrobe to keep your boards upright and off each other, to prevent damage and scratching. If you remove some of the fittings of your board in the off season to prevent rusting, it's great to have a shelf next to the rack to store them. Plan ahead
While you might currently only have the one board, over time you might want to have the flexibility to pick up a longer board for some open snows, or a shorter board as you get more confident and want to do some gnarly tricks. Having some flexibility with the capacity of your storage rack means you can pick a great board if you see one you like for the right price, and have somewhere for it to slot in.
